Dancing Gravy Cow
Need I say more?
I came across this little gem courtesy of Vimeo’s Staff Picks – an excellent place for R’n'D or as I like to call it, “10 minutes, wasting time watching pretty videos whilst pretending to look busy” (R’n'D’s just a much snappier title).

Anyways, this simple animated short really isn’t what you expect. It starts off as a chuckle inducing tale, following one of the many YouTube aficionados (or muppets) who spend their time filming themselves doing something “interesting” – I use the term “interesting” fairly loosely here, in a bid to be noticed and gain world wide fame and fortune. Then, it turns…
I won’t give away the ending but this short stops being amusing and starts to become increasingly creepy and what makes it worse is it’s utter plausibility. Could this tale be true? It might happen, it probably already has but will we ever know….
A team of six, one month’s work and three people spending three days in a cupboard – all for a glorious result…
The lovely people over at Jack Morton commissioned us to design and create the graphics for Hyundai at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt.
For the grand unveiling of Hyundai’s latest model – the i30, we produced an epic countdown sequence for the massive rear-view mirror shaped LED screen. A whopping 2792 x 720 – that’s over 2,000,000 million pixels of graphic goodness! (For those of you not of the pixel persuasion that’s BIG!)
In addition to the countdown, three time notice’s were created as well – all of which were looped into one continuous sequence with Hyundai’s live action footage included. Due to the unusual shape of the LED screen, the video footage was shown in two frames, side by side. This gave the most impact possible without losing any of the film off the curved sides and rounded edges – simples.
Hit the “full screen” button to see them in all their glory…
3D floating glass panels were created and animated in Cinema4D with live action footage comped into each one.
All the audio was created by the clever chaps over at Box of Toys Audio.
